    Default Ugh

Need some good "please oh please let them find it pronto" vibes. Airline lost one of my sons pieces of luggage. I sure hope they find it, he's away for a week training for a sales job (in NC) & needs business attire everyday he's there. Guess which bag is missing...yep the one with suit, dress pants, shirts & ties, eyeglasses, toiletries, casual shoes, uwear & socks. The one he does have has all casual clothes & no footwear.

Hope hope hope they find the bag!

He'll be getting it by 10pm tonight supposedly. Whew.
Over 25 villagers looked at this post (but did not respond) it's so nice to to know you are out there, somewhere & in the grand scheme of things it's small potatoes but if you are there for a week of business & you have only shorts, you are quaking in your boots.
Between my dd's college graduation & my son traveling across the country for the first time all in one weekend, this Mom is beat & maybe a bit sensitive. I'll be ok & back to normal tomorrow.

oh, man! The airlines lost my bags last time I flew too. What a pain that was. But eventually they did find it. Glad they found your son's too. The delivery guy who brought my bags was super nice and hopefully it will be a good experience for his retunred bag as well.

I feel his pain. Frontier lost mine on this past trip, and I didn't get it until a day and a half later. They couldn't even tell me WHERE it was; they had no clue. Glad they found it.

Thanks guys! I do feel better, I was up at 4 yesterday (didn't sleep well with alot on my mind)and really needed a good nights sleep. Back to normal today.
Lotsa changes all at once & I'm not my usual self. Son will be moving out for good as soon as he gets back and I'll be an official empty nester. He'll be 2 hours away & that's closer than alot of people have their kids so I am appreciative. Just hard to let go sometimes.

    So glad they found it!

I was one of those who looked but didn't respond-- the baby started crying right after I opened the thread. I was thinking of you, though!

I think people take it for granted that their luggage will always arrive with them to their location. It really does suck when you are waiting for it, and it just isn't there. Glad that they found everything for him. I had it happen one time to me and my son when he was only a baby. Boy was I nervous that I would not have anything for our trip. Thank god They delivered it.

I'm a little late, but I wanted to send a big hug! Sounds like you have lots going on & it can be overwhelming. At least it would be for me... not a big fan of change. Sorry I missed your post earlier, but glad things are going better now.

Thanks. He's doing well there but is super tired, they train all day long & even have an evening meeting. Cram alot into the 5 days he'll be there.
This is his first big trip alone. When he went off to college, he did know a few people from hs, this time he's doing it all on his own. Was funny, when he got thru the security he phoned us from his cell & said he made it thru "Checkpoint Charile". He's pretty excited about moving into that house with his friends too and that will be on the first. Not sure where Dd will be moving to (depends on where she gets a job) but that will happen before the end of July. Busy, busy.
