    Default Airline....carry-on luggage question

My DH is leaving on a 4 day business trip this morning. He isn't going to check any bags, he'll be taking a carry on. What if any toiletries can he bring? Toothpaste, etc? HELP!

He can take liquids (shampoo, toothpaste, body wash, etc...) in 3 oz. or less bottles, and they all have to be together in a zip lock bag. I just flew on Sat., so I know this is how the rule is.

And that ziploc bag has to be the quart size, not bigger.

I used a clear makeup bag for mine. Do you have one of those?

They also sometimes provide the bags at the airport, but it depends on the airport ...

You can put them in a gallon sized, but they have to fit in a certain measurement. If you can squish them into that measurement I don't think that would be a problem.

I looked it up and the measurements are 8 inches by 8 inches. I would take a sharpie and mark off an 8 x 8 section and then put my items in there and make sure they fit in that area.

Edited to add: You might want to fold the excess plastic bag and rubberband it.

Thank you all so much for your input. I sent DH off with the gallon size bag an hour ago. The only things in it are his toothbrush, toothpaste, hair gel and deodorant. Hopefully he'll be ok
