? on airline travel

My DD is going from ME to TN in a few days. Can she bring her Nintendo DS? I read about the toiletries thing - but she won't really need any of that - she's going to her dad's and this is her FIRST plane trip. He is flying here to get her then flying back with her too.

Why wouldn't she be able to bring her DS? Go right on ahead

I travel often. She can bring the DS system and play it on the plane. No problem. Tell her to enjoy the flight!

A Few hints depending on her age...
Do NOT bring any bottled water. It will not go through security
DO have her bring a snack if she wants to. Granola bars, crackers, etc are nice to munch on if she wants to
A small tote bag with a book, puzzle book, pen paper lip gloss, kleenex and a travel pack of baby wipes comes in handy.
Once she gets through security she can purchase bottle of water or juice to take on the flight if she wants to.

Thanks guys. We are both nervous about her first flight.

I'm probably going to fly down to get my other 2 children (younger than her) in Oct to bring them here for 2 weeks.
