    Default Issue with timeshare

Hello I haven't posted here before but thought I'd ask this question since a few people on this board seem to own/know about timeshares, I apologize if I posted incorrectly.

Since my mom fell ill she and my dad have not been able to be as active as they had been. I just found out that they are still paying for their timeshare, having not gone out there in some years. I don’t even know where to start to get them out of their contract, are there any resources out there that can simplify this for me? Thanks.

as far as I know, the only way to get "out" of the timeshare is to sell it or donate it -

I found a link on Clark Howard's site ((you have to search 'timeshare' and look through the archives)) - I attempted to donate our timeshare in New Orleans, but they didn't want ours due to location

good luck, timeshares are like a nasty virus - very hard to get rid of

There's one place I know of that sells them for you. I'm sure they work on commission. It's called Timeshares only. www.timesharesonly.com

Never pay an upfront fee..it is a scam. Read through TimeshareTrap.com to find your options and what scams to avoid. Good luck.
