    Default Duvall Street and Mallory Square

    Thanks to itsahumanzoo and MarshHen we went to Mallory Square and had a blast. We walked down Duvall Street, ate at Red Fish Blue Fish with chickens running around (LOL) and then went to Mallory Square and watched the sunset. You guys were right, it did take my breath away. I took several pics and got a terrific shot of some sailboats crossing in front of the setting sun. Hopefully when we get back home I can load them and show them to you guys. I don't remember who asked, but yes, we brought our laptop.

    Oh goodie, I can't wait to see your sunset pics. It's been years since I've seen a beautiful "Key" sunset. And, like I posted before, don't forget to go shell hunting!

    Glad your enjoying yourself. Don't miss the bookshops just off Duvall Street. You'll find some goodies. Also Jimmy Buffets recording studio is at the Marina at opposite end of the street from the cruise ship dock. Plain white building on the docks. Next to an open air bar. We had lunch at the bar and Toby Keith came out of the studio and sat next to me and had lunch!!! Its a good place to eat and you never know who'll come out of the studio. Ask the folks hanging around the back of the building whos inside their usually pretty friendly.

    I'm glad you had such a great time! When I used to live in Key Largo I loved going down to Key West! Only two more weeks until I get to go back and visit! I'm so excited!
