Favorite things to see or do in CA...
We live in the northern CA area and were wondering what fun, or exciting things you have done, or would like to do Nor Cal....

I've only been up that way once. We went to San Francisco and we walked around and it was really neat. I'd like to go again.

The park on the other side of the golden gate bridge is nice, (opposite the city). the view is great and only cost is gas......there is a really neat sculpture of a sailor/with his duffle bag that you can take your picture with.
Watch "Bay area backroads" they highlight all kinds of stuff about Nor-Cal and sometimes some Nevada stuff, a lot of the places are parks and such so your only money out would be gas.
