Favorite beach

What is your favorite beach? I'll still got quite a few on my list that I would like to visit someday. So far I think my very favorite is probably the gulf beaches from Gulf Shores, Alabama to Panama City Beach, Florida.
I've never been to the beaches of North and South Carolina and Georgia, they're on my list of to do .

Outside of the US, I would have to say Truck Bay in St. John U.S.V.I., ( so I guess technically it's in the US) I really hope to return there again someday.

I have only been to the beaches from Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area east to Ft Walton/ Destin to the Panama City area. Living in Alabama and only being a couple of hours from these areas we go often. A couple of years ago my grandparents built a new home across the street from the beach in Panama City Beach. Up until this year, DH's company had four condos there we had access to for free for up to 10 days a year. So between my grandparent's house and the company condos, we were there a good bit.

To be honest, of the areas I mentioned Panama City is my least favorite. There are way too many younger(high school/college aged) people there for me. I would much rather be in the Destin/Ft. Walton area. I love Seaside, Seagrove and Santa Rosa, too.

We were in Gulf Shores/Orange Beach last week. It was not very crowded and very peaceful. Although a baby shark did get a little too close for comfort when we were in the ocean.

All of the beaches along the Alabama/Florida coast are beautiful.

Wildwood Crest, NJ
Virginia Bch -southern end - Virginia
Both have really fine, packed sand, and are groomed nicely overnight. They are also free to the public, I'm also a fan of most of the mid Cape beaches on Cape Cod
Least faves- Seaside Heights NJ (crowded with screaming day trippers)
Key West (and I love everything else about key west) too rocky and small.

I vote for no beach.... lol I hate sand and I'm quite content living among the trees and lakes in Southern Oregon. We moved away from the beach in SoCal!! lol

I love NewPort Beach!! I also like Malibu.

We usually go to Seaside Heights, NJ, we always have alot of fun and on Wednesdays and Thursdays the beach is free

Our favorite beach is Holden Beach in North Carolina. We love it because the beach is clean and pretty, plus it sits on a island and there is only houses and condos there to rent. My husband has been going there since he was little and I have been going since I was 18. My girls love it there too. It is our home away from home.
