    Question Rental car

We're going to Disney World in May. Not my #1 choice of a vacation but oh well. Anyway, we're planning on renting a car so that we could drive around and I was wondering which rental car place usually has the best deals? I've used Budget in the past and Enterprise a couple of times.

Do you have an entertainment book? There are coupons in them for various rental car companies.

If you are flying into MCO do NOT use Dollar; long wait lines compared to others, few workers, no self-check in kiosk, an overall pain. That was our experience in May.

If you are a member of AAA I would suggest that you check with them they are always having specials, coupons, ect......also you can save money on your entrance tickets, and your hotel.

I work for a major car rental company at an airport and these are some things I see in my experience (been working there 11 years).

**Not any one company will always have the lowest rate. They all have there periods of being the lowest.

** Rates are based on availability of cars, so definately book at least a month in advance

** At the same time, weird as it sounds, it's usually best NOT to book more than 6 months in advance. Never could figure THAT one out! LOL

** Check websites like Expedia, Orbitz, Travelocity, etc that will compare rates for you all on one page.

** Always read the terms and conditions section. Make sure there are no cancellation fees, etc. You'll want to know about extra driver fees, cc hold, policies for accepting debit cards (if you plan to use one).

    Hope that helped!

If you belong to Bj's, they also offer some discounts for car rental. Sometimes they are cheaper, and sometimes they are not.
