Cape Cod Anyone?
Anyone live near or vacation at Cape Cod?
We are looking into a summer rental for the week, and I was hoping to get some ins and outs from the pros here at this site. Where is the best place to stay, and what should we definatley see while we are out there? Also.. what should we avoid or is not worth our cash.
THANKS

Try tripadvisor.com.

On this site you can view reviews

for. I use this site a lot for traveling." May we never let the things we can’t have or don’t have or shouldn’t have spoil our enjoyment of the things we do have and can have. I highly suggest that wherever you stay on the cape, you take a day to drive to the tip of the Cape to Provincetown. It's the most beautiful place on earth. Great restaurants (Crowne Pointe Inn has the best restaurant ever), lovely beaches, friendly people, great shops/artsy places. Lotsa bike trails. The canal is a great place to go bike-riding or for a good long walk. For rainy days while on vacation, there's the Cape Cod Mall in Hyannis.

We generally stay in Dennisport or one of the surrounding areas mid cape. Red Jacket suites have nice resorts in the area, also the Soundings is a nice place (kinda old cape atmosphere).
I do not like Hyannis except to run in to shop, do a port cruise(the three mast sunset cruise is good) or hit a club, it's a bit trashy to stay there (we compare it to Seaside Heights in NJ). The resteraunts change often and we haven't been in 2 years so I won't suggest any. We do a lot of kite flying, lazy days at the beach.

Thanks for the info about Hyannis. I think we are going with a place in Yarmouth.
