    Post Time for a trip...

    I have been doing a lot of thinking (scary LOL). From the time our oldest son was 16 my hubby & I would take one week and just go away by ourselves. We did that right up until our youngest son had his accident, so it has been several years since we have been able to get away. I think this year would be a good time to regroup and start taking our trip again. Not only would it help us to recharge, but I think our son would end up benefiting too.

    Problem is I wouldn't want to go as far away as we would under normal circumstances, so it'd have to be something we could do closer to home. We used to go to the Upper Peninsula and it was sooo much fun and sooo relaxing. Time to pull out the tent....

    Dh and I are going to do this for the first time ever in May!! I have a 20 yr old dd and a 14 yr old ds and we have never gone anywhere overnight just the 2 of us. Our 23rd Anni is in May and this year we are getting away for a quick weekend!
