Valentines day Cupcakes
I found this on family.com. Very neat idea for cupcakes. If you check out their Valentines section, there are a few other neat ideas.

How nice! My ddil teaches first grade, maybe she'll need some for their Valentine's party. As if I need an excuse to bake.

I just read that idea in the Complete Tightwad Gazette and promised myself that I would make the for the dks this year! The pic you posted makes them look so much cuter than the sketch in CTG, so now I really need to do it. I have some cute Valenitnes cupcake liners purchased last year at 90% off that I can use for them. Now I just have to find enough marbles...... (yep, I've lost my marbles!

Heart Shaped cupcakes without a special pan
I read this online: Make cupcakes as usual. Before baking press a marble in between the cupcake liner and the pan. It gives you the indent.

Yes, it works but BIG WARNING!!!! Watch those marbles when you remove the pan from the oven they have gotten hot also. Place them somewhere kids won't touch them til they have cooled.
Experience is a hard school but some will learn in no other.
