I'm sorry to hear that hun, what happened after you told him how upset you were? Whenver I let my husband know he upset me by not spending enough time or energy on a special day, he gets really defensive

I hope he comes around soon...do you have any idea why he's trying to avoid you so much? Was it a fight a long time ago?

I think he's depressed (and he has a right to be, since he's ill-- but that doesn't make him any easier to live with).

He didn't get defensive or anything when I told him I was upset--- just walked into the other room. We've been giving each other the silent treatment since--- not therapeutic, but better than screaming at this point I suppose.
