    Default My Valentine gifts*UPDATE*

We are really broke but I am trying to do something special for both Alex and Mike. Today they each got a piece of candy. I am attaching a red heart to each with a little note telling them I love them. I would like to do something every day. I think that I will start telling them one thing I love about them on the heart everyday. I want to spend about (or under ) $20 total. I did a candy bar today. Tomorrow I have a new red pen for Mike and an individual can of Pringles for Alex. What other things can I do for them that would be low cost? I want them to be able to get them at school except of course on Sat. and Sun.
    Any thoughts?

A coupon for a free room cleaning or chore done by mom instead of them...

A coupon for a family game night -- their choice. Coupons are fun, easy, and CHEAP!

I don't know how old Alex is, but maybe a trip to MomSpa, where you do her nails, fix her hair in the style of her choosing...stuff like that.

I wanted to share with all of you how this was going.
Michael and Alex are so tickled each day. I don't know why I didn't do this sooner. They look forward to the little gift each day but more I think they look forward to the heart telling them what I love about them. At the end of the day they are asking each other what they gfot that day and what was on their heart.

Michael; told me he was amaized that I have been able to find so many wonderful things about him. LOL I think after everything that has been going on with his family that he really needed someone telling him he IS a wonderful man and someone worth loving.
Some of the things I have given them are
    ~ gum
~ a 2 litter of pop for Michael ( we don't buy pop anymore so this is a real treat)
~ they each got an apple one day that was a big hit Alex likes golden Del. and they are so $$ that I don't buy them often.
    ~m&m's
    ~nerds
    ~kit kat bar
    ~ can on pop
    ~ new red grading pen
    ~ pencils

This has been a lot of fun and I'm worried about the big finish. Any ideas for that?

I'd make them each a huge sugar cookie (heart shaped of course) for the finale!
