Default Do you and your sweetie have special plans for Valentine's Day?

Do you and your sweetie have any special traditions that you do each year?  DH and I exchange cards but we normally don't do anything else special.  We used to go out to eat that night but it is always so busy at the nicer restaraunts that we now just stay home and watch television.   I do make it a point to tell him how blessed and thankful I am to have him in my life.

With my wild work schedule-- we don't have any "traditions" for this holiday.

Dh and I exchange cards and a kiss. . he generally buys dd a small box of candy.

I know this year-- the weekend before Valentine's we'll go to our church's Valentine banquet and Chosen Ones concert.

We are going to grill steaks and probably snuggle on the couch and watch t.v. and eat the forbidden icecream for dessert. He has been gone since 4 a.m. yesterday morning and I cannot wait for him to get home!! I got him a white tiger stuffed animal and a few chocolates and a card.

DH and I exchanged cards. He gave me chocolates and I made him low sugar blueberry muffins. We are going to the local bookstore and eating at the small restaurant they have there.
The make the best cream of shallot soup! We don't go to fancy places for valentines day anymore. They are to crowded and they rush you on holidays.
