I don't really have a game plan for the day yet. But here is the plan so far:
~Get kids up, fed and to school
~Hit the gym for at least an hour
~Take DH leftovers for lunch
~Empty the dishwasher
~Take DS over to register for kindergarten
Then maybe spend the afternoon working outside if the weather is nice. If not, then cleaning up inside will be on the agenda!Last edited by Momto2Boyz; 04-29-2009 at 08:31 AM.

Today is my no drive no spend day, so I'll be cleaning the inside of the house. And if I have time I'll start on the outside with sweeping the porches and the deck. Dinner is already in the crockpot.

I might have to fit in a nap after work. I'm extremely tired today because I haven't slept well the last 2 nights.

tackling the mountion of laundry. Washing three loads before work and I have to fold 6 loads of laundry. I really hate to fold it so it ends up just sitting sometimes.
Then working all night.Katy

Today is a day off from work so I can clean while I have some alone time, my fiancee is at his parent's house helping his son put a transmission in his car. So far I have...
-had 2 cups of coffee-
-washed 1 load of clothes and hung out to dry-
-took trash out for pick up-
-put 2 med/dental bills in the mail-
-dug through some papers & found my divorce decree, need this to get married-
-ate lunch-
-straightened living room-
I still have to fold clothes and put them away, fix dinner, sort through more clutter(paperwork), do dishes and run sweeper in living room. No lights on, no heat on, not going anywhere. That about does it for me.
Oops, I almost forgot, I ran a scan on the computer.

Staying home today! Had the powerwashing guy come clean our house ($115) but it was really overdue for a wash so that was a necessity. Otherwise, no money spent today.
-Gave the children some leftovers from MIL's house from supper last night for lunch today. When 2yo asked for a granola bar, I just opened the bag where I saved the last one he didn't finish the other day, and gave him a piece of that...he was happy and I didn't have to open a new one.
-Tried to take a survey for cash but got screened out
-Received a trade in the mail (I cloth diaper and sometimes trade for gently used ones...it is keeping me from buying a bunch more new stuff, which is good)
-Cleaned the kids' bedrooms this afternoon with a little of their help (they're young, so it's more about training them at this point)
-Mom brought me an old bedspread and sheet set that she was going to donate - I'm probably going to cut them up and use them for making blankets.
-No laundry today - I've moved to an every other day schedule, and I think it's helping me save energy and water
-Did a 3-minute organize of the shelves where I keep cereal boxes and coffee - had to toss some old stuff. Not buying any more cereal until we're down to two boxes (we have like 6, not counting the small ones). I'm tired of tossing stale cereal.
-Vowing not to buy any more clothes for a long time - my children have tons stashed away in current and future sizes. For me to buy more is really just wasteful and poor stewardship!
Oh, and I sold some shoes on ebay this morning for a $20 profit. Pretty happy about that! Maybe I ought to see what else can go from my shoe rack....
Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Caught up on bookkeeping on the computer - haven't entered anything for a couple of weeks. I came in nicely under budget in general expenses (I don't itemize at this point).
So ... on the way to work I indulged my recent itching to go yarn shopping. I had made a list this last weekend. I got everything I need for my summer projects.
This was all for give-aways. But I saw exactly the color I've been wishing I could find to make something for ME. I bought four skeins of that, and later - much later - I'll get what I want to go with it.
I also bought several kinds of fruit which made me about $10 over, but that's ok. I'm set for months! Well, for yarn, not for fruit.
So definitely a wants spend day.Donna

I hear you Jayne. I had a 2 1/2 hour dentist appointment this morning. I had a crown fitted on a tooth I had a root canal done on a few months ago and another tooth filled. Not my favorite way to spend the morning.
Then I took some boxes and glass to recycling.
Took my vacuum to the repair shop to get the belt changed.
Trimmed my dogs nails.
Took a 45 minute nap!
Took Sere to the vet for her Rabies shot and heart worm test.
Cleaned up the back yard, the lawn service is coming tomorrow to mow my lawn, finally.
Fixed some salmon for supper, had a salad to go with it.
Cleaned up the kitchen.
Have a load of laundry in.
Need to do a bit of filing still.
Just another day! LOL~Kim~
