What's up for today?

We are going to stay home all day. I have two daycare girl's (sisters) that will be here in an hour. Tonight is Ghosthunters International all night, so that will be spent on the bed watching.

Good morning, I'm on my second cup of wake up juice. I already took out the trash for pick-up. I need to call my mom,baby sister, and daughter and let them know my plans for visiting next month. I also have to email another sister and let her know what I have planned. I have to make out grocery list for tomorrow, wash dishes, call telephone company, pull some weeds, and fix dinner. Hope everyone has a nice day.

Trash and recycling day here as well. I brought my breakfast and lunch to work today, in washable plastic containers. I also hope to pull weeds when I get home, but it's supposed to rain for the next few days, so I'm not sure how much I'll get done.

We are staying home today. I have a killer headache and dd9 wanted to take the day off from soccer camp (I didn't feel like arguing with her).

So far I've gotten the chicken on the stove to cook so I can debone it this afternoon for dinner, fixed the strap to dd4's sundress, reused an old sundress to make a halter top for dd9, played cars with ds2 and surfed on the computer.

I still need to clean the kids' bathroom and empty/reload the dishwasher. I think I will probably spend nap time working on the lap blanket I'm crocheting.

Today is going to be a good day for us!

We're heading to the wading pool (which is free to use, compliments of the City of Calgary) and spend some time there. It'll be 32+ today, so it's time to go enjoy some fun in the sun. I'm also setting up the crockpot and rice cooker. We'll be having crockpot teriyaki chicken with sticky rice for dinner.

I'm going to toss a load of laundry in the wash and then hang it on the line downstairs. I'd put it outside but the crazy weather's liable to storm really hard today since it's so warm.

I had to work then go to the dump then turn in the rental car and pick up our car today. Also I went marketing.

Today I scrubbed the bathroom and put down clean carpets.
Scrubbed the dining room.
Ran sweeper in the craft room and started decluttering.
Washed a load of clothes and line dried.
Make chicken and pot pies for supper.
Programmed DH's new cellphone
Made a poster sign for "Thank You" for DD#2's wedding.

Yesterday (Wednesday), I picked 2 gallons of wild saskatoons in the fields and woods. Once I picked them over, nothing was wasted.
Had a good freebie day in the mail, with 4 samples and $20 coupons.
Supper was great, thanks to all the left-overs, prepared in different ways, and also 2 cooked veggies, plus saskatoons & sugar & cream for dessert.
Got the dishes done and the berries washed--now chilling in fridge.
Was going to read at bedtime, but fell asleep before reading a single word. Woke up at 3AM, lights still on.
It was a good day!
