    Default Waste not Wednesday 11/4

Good morning frugal friends. I'm getting ready to leave for work. I have the trash ready to go out for pick up. When I get home this afternoon I need to clean the tub and run the sweeper in the bathroon and hallway, finish the clothes and fix elcheapo spaghetti for dinner. What are your midweek plans? Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Good morning to all Today is a busy day I have to meet the oil tank inspector at the new house Please everyone send positive thoughts and prayers that the tank does not leak If it is found leaking we cant buy the house as it will be an EPA horror. Buried oil tanks really are the worst. This morning I have to run to store to buy something to make for dinner as all I have left in the freezer are sausages and chop meat I think it will be chicken as I am trying to limit red meat Its actually cold here this morning but its sunny Thanks for the good thoughts Have a wonderful day everyone

Up early and strangely DD#4 is still asleep - she is usually up with the sun working on her latest writing project. But she just went back to swim club after 3 months away, and I imagine she's pretty tired. (We homeschool, and are on the get up late, stay up late plan )
A tableful of laundry awaits folding and putting away.
I just put some chicken parts to soak in buttermilk for tonight's dinner and made some KFC-knockoff cole slaw (It takes 1/4 cup of buttermilk, so I always make the two dishes together!)
Need to do some general pick-up/straighten up
    Clean my bathroom
Take DS out for some driving practice
Tonight is Bible study and I need to review some stuff
Call my dad and check on Uncle Sid who went to a nursing home Friday - he has cancer and seems to be in denial about his diagnosis. Was just thinking about all the times he took us kids to the beach when he couldn't even swim, and how he enrolled in a Guppy class when he was 65 and finally learned to swim
It's gloomy and cold here today, but I'm not going to pay any attention to it

Much shorter to-do list since I finally caught up everything yesterday. I need to:

    - Google a map to the new doctors' office for my apt tomorrow
    - Wipe down the walls
    - Check the loss leaders in the papers
    - Iron the laundry from yesterday
    - Make chicken and rice soup for dinner

Baby Step 2: $8350 to go

I actually have nothing pressing to do today. My son has been home sick since Friday, so I got all the housework caught up (finally). I just gotta go pick up 3 days of homework and hope he feels like getting some of it done. Have a nice day everyone!!

Good day to get some things done around here I've washed and hung 2 loads of clothes. Wiped down the family bathroom. Started our lunch/dinner( I used cooked chicken breast and added mossarella & racottia cheese and sauce that I added leftover brocolli to). That's cooking now. I also threw in a few potatoes to bake for tommorows lunch. I washed some kale and put that in a pot to cook with some water and Ham dripping I saved from a ham I cooked and saved the dripping in the freezer. At breakfast I pulled out a leftover baked potatoe and fried it up with our bacon and eggs. I also got the kitchen sink clean and the outside of the mirowave and dish washer. Un loaded the dishwasher and reloaded it and washed up a few things by hand. Wow, I've gotten alot done and it's just past noon. Can't wait to see what else I can get done. I'm on a roll

I have long list of items to get done today. I haven't felt great for the last couple of days so I got behind around here.
    So far I have
~ mowed the lawn -- it was so long and it finally dried out enough plus tomorrow it is going to rain
    ~ started the laundry

    I still need to
~ unload and reload the dishwasher
~change the sheets and the towels and add them to the laundry pile
    ~rake the yard
~pick up and declutter the house
~sign contract for work -- needs to be done before I can work this month

Tonight is Awana night and my DH works really late, so it will be leftovers for dinner.

What a day! I took my neighbor to his eye appointment- he treated me to lunch! Yeah!!!! He is such a fun person to be around-nearly 80.I so want to be as youthful and happy as he is at that age! Came home and had lunch, then went to the store, bank, post office and picked up some clothes from the cleaners.Took all three dogs to the groomers, as they killed a skunk and were all three out there ROLLING on top of it. Nasty!!!They are going to be there overnight. Well, hope you all had a sweeter day.LOL!!!
