Good morning. I'm getting ready for work. I have to get the trash put out for pickup and put the turkey out in the sink of water. After work I have to drop off library books, maybe get more. I could get my check cashed but it can wait until Friday. Dinner will be quick and easy so clean up will be quick and easy. I want to watch TBL special, do some reading and then go to bed.

Just got home from work, my little baby patient was a complete stinker last night pulling herself off the vent several thousand (it seemed) times - clapping and smiling and laughing, like it's the best game in the world and NOT 3am!!!

Gotta catch a couple hours of sleep
Supervise DS making pumpkin pies (he's made them every year since he was 5 or 6)
Assemble and refrigerate my casseroles for tomorrow
Cut up bread for stuffing (actually, it's hot dog buns leftover from our Labor Day picnic and some cornbread from last night's dinner)
DD#4 and DS have swim practice, and I need to go give a little girl in town her monthly injection so they can get on the road to their out of town Thanksgiving
Run the Polish stoneware through the dishwasher so we can eat off of it tomorrow
    Brine the turkey before bed
That should just about do me in!

Have a blessed day and a grateful Thanksgiving everyone!!
I am thankful for YOU my Frugal Village friends - so glad I found you all, you've made a difference in my life!!!

First things first. When dd 17 gets out of bed, I'm going to lecture her. If she wants me to trust her out late at her boyfriends house, then she better have locked the front door when she comes home! She left the door un-locked all night. grrr she knows better.

I need to go to the store to pick up a few ingredients for Thanksgiving.

I might take the kids over to my parents house for awhile and surprise them. It's my moms birthday, their anniversary and Thanksgiving all 3 days together.

I really need a new pair of jeans and maybe buy some Christmas cards.

I'm at work, having a cup of coffee and taking a short break while I check in here. I took the trash and recycling out this morning. I need to vacuum and dust tonight and finish cleaning up the kitchen. My mom is coming over tomorrow, so I have to make sure everything is in order! LOL

    Have a great day!

The giblets for the giblet gravy have been in the freezer since March, but the look OK and will get used.

Morning all!! This morning is going to be hectic. The kids are home today for the holiday. I have about 15 more minutes before I need to get dressed and start the running around. Of course everyone needs to be somewhere and the time always overlaps. Funny how that works out!

I still have one more bathroom to clean today and then I have a mountain of laundry to fold. My room needs attention, so I'll be trying to squeeze that in too. I'm thinking I need to check out flylady. I also plan to make the turkey this afternoon and just have it cooked up and ready for tomorrow. That will free up the oven for rolls and pie. Or maybe I'll make the pie this afternoon. Problem is, I can't be trusted with pie. It's too yummy!

I still need to eat breakfast before I go, but I'm just not hungry. Problem is I'll be gone until lunch time and I'm sure I'll be hungry by then.

Maybe I'll just wear a hat today.

I just have some general housecleaning (I've done great this week of getting the house in shape!), some laundry. I did run out to the store and get a few Christmas presents, I want to organize everything this afternoon to see what is still needed besides hubby's gift. Make pizza's for dinner and have a relaxing evening!

    Everyone have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Just keep cleaning for hosting tomorrow. Need to mix up my casserole. Pick DH up from work later. Trying not to stress. Doing good so far.
