Waste Not Wednesday 12/9

Good morning everyone. I woke up sick Monday morning so today I have to get caught up on housework. I also have 2 gifts that I need to wrap. I plan to work around the house as I long as I feel like it. I hope everyone has a good day.

Awww feel better soon! I have to work today, the weather is awful, the schools are closed and it's still snowing, so it's going to be a slow morning commute for me today! I'm sure because of the snow, work will be super slow, long and boring, then I'll be picking up the boys from daycare, and then home to clean and just relax on this cold, blustery, snowy day!

Well, off to work I go in this windy, cold weather. Thankfully I only have 8 patients left this week. I would rather stay home and do some baking/cleaning. I only work 3 mornings a week, so I guess I shouldn't complain.

I plan to do the usual when I get home...laundry, cleaning, supper. Take the kids to youth group, then home to read and relax.

Loving the snowfall outside (First year I have ever said that--though Im not driving today!) and am sitting in nice and toasty paying some bills online with my hot mug of peppermint mocha coffee. Going to attempt to wrap some more presents this morning and maybe mop the downstairs bathroom and bar area. I have to work 1-10:30 so Dfiance is coming home to drive me (His car is a sports car that is BAD in the snow so he took mine to work today).

Snowing this morning after sleeting all night - wonderful!! DS takes his drivers' test next week, so I think I'll give him a driving lesson in the snow today - he's got to learn, and we live in a rural area where there are long stretches of road inhabited by only cows and pigs and the occassional possum.
Lots of paperwork to round up for our home purchase - the repo bank just doesn't seem to understand the concept of "I am paying ca$h" - sheesh.

Good morning! My poor heater is working overtime today. And I don't even keep the temperature real high. It certainly helps with the budget, as I am not going anywhere in this cold today.

I'm having a lazy morning this morning. I can't seem to get with the program today. I still need to exercise. I usually like to do that first thing. Housework today will be the general picking up. I have to make some bread today and put some beans to soak. Other than that, today is an uneventful day.

Morning all. Lots of snow and more coming. Dh had to go to work. Cant call in to the Army for a snowstorm. He took my Jeep. Yds is still snoozing. No school for him. I am staying in and staying warm. Have a good day

I've got frugal-ness galore today.
I'm making some chicken stock to freeze out of some chicken bones.
I have chicken to cut up from last nights dinner for tomorrow nights casserole.
I dug out some clearance discards from my store for some folk's Christmas presents.
I've got a nice big pork roast in the crockpot that only cost $4.
FIL bought a jar of some weird honey flavored peanut butter we don't like, so it's going into cookies.
I'm finishing some Christmas shopping at the dollar store after dinner.

Light snow here today. I took the dogs in for grooming this morning.Also went with my sister to set out hay.Getting ready to head to the gym for weights, and I am going to sign up with a trainer after the new year- cost will be one of my Christmas gifts.Paperwork to fill out. Will also pick up the dogs and then home to cook a ham. One of DH's patients gave it to us so it will be several free meals! Makes it so yummy. Hope you had a great day and are staying warm. This wind is a nightmare.

hotprincess, glad to see you back. It's not morning but I'm here. I took a vacation day today. Did some dishes this morning, folded clothes, made out grocery list for this weekend. We had to buy a new tv last Saturday because our old one said goodbye after 14 years, so I have to find a place for the tapes, and some of DH musical paraphernalia. I have a lot of rearranging to do. I need to start dinner in a few minutes and get hubby up so he can get ready for work. I'd like to do some reading later and then conk out.
