Waste Not Wednesday 1/20

Good morning ladies, it's humpday. I'm getting ready to leave for work...again. I need to stop off at the library on the way home, put dishes away, fold a load of clothes, dust the tv stand, and make something easy for dinner, maybe grilled cheese. Hope you all have a great day.

I got some sinus crap going on so not sleeping well. I am taking a nap later.

There is tons of toys scattered in my living room that I plan on cleaning out and organizing today. My son is blessed with toys.

Too tired to do it last night.

Yesterday I got a ton done so today should be a lazy day.

I'm thinking something pasta for dinner and American Idol later tonight.

Not leaving the house today.

Good morning! I have a few more minutes before I have to get the kids up and going! Lunches are made and ready to go. Today is school for kids and work for me. Before I get to work, I need to run to Target and grab some lotion for dh before he melts down! lol I GUESS I've made him suffer long enough! After work is a little bit of laundry and supper before I have to take youngest dd to daisy scouts. Never a dull moment...

It's a snowy mess today -- I'm not leaving the house today.

Diva was suppose to start her art class at the gallery today, but it was changed to Thursday. Just as well, if I don't have to leave the house, the chances are very high I won't spend any money

Later today, the ex is coming over to visit with Diva. I need to finish making laundry powder, do the dishes, make the grocery list for tomorrow, and do some odds and ends around here.

Good morning villagers! It is actually a nice sunny, but chilly day here in MI. Today I will be going to the library, doing laundry, cleaning, and declutering. Our little 1054sqft house is getting just too cluttered for the 3 of us anymore. So I am hoping if I start going through things and putting some of DD stuff into boxes to be sold at a mom to mom sale, I will free up more space. Not to be filled by anything, but to make our home feel less congested! lol

DD will be spending the night at my parents house (she does this every Wed. since I lost my job a year and a half ago) so that will help me get through all of her toys. We are cooking at home again tonight, taco salad and refried beans and rice. I need to make a grocery list, but it is really just going to be fresh produce and some sour cream! YEE HAW Cheap trip this week. I am hoping chicken goes on sale again, I am down to 5 packs, and we love chicken!

On a good note I cancelled our Schwann's home delivery today. It seems like everytime they come I spend more then the $40.00 I allow, and lately the food has tasted horrible.

I am going to hold off on the grocery shopping until tomorrow, so today should be a no spend day!!

I'm taking it easy and finishing any cleanup that I forgot to do. Inlaws are showing up tomorrow at noon.

Today's chore list:

Dishes
Vacuum the kitchen
Have DH put the microwave downstairs
Clean the mold from the old window

I have a bit of a headache that may be from that, so I'm taking care of that now.

I also need to do a couple loads of laundry.

Today's lunch is leftover chicken with creme sauce over basmati rice.

Work for me today, I brought my lunch, so that is good. When I get home I need to fold a load of laundry, dry and put away 1 load and I need to vacuum. Will have something simple for dinner, then I want to get my next sewing project around. Early to bed, so I can start all over again tomorrow!

Good morning. Today is my 3rd day of my stay-cation. Staying at home to cook some special dishes (freeze portions of them), making & canning another batch of marmalade (for home & gifts).
The weather is blah, windy, raining, hailing (spelling?); luckily I have done all my grocery shopping in the last 2 days for the next 2 weeks, maybe just an occasional run to get veg and/or diary products.
Oh, our new freezer will be delivered today. It's a 14 cu ft upright freezer, it'll definitely come in handy with all the food I have been cooking, preparing.
In between cooking, I'll do maybe 2 loads of laundry & pay some bills.

Dinner is Tuscan chicken and bean stew (got the recipe from Woman's Day yesterday)

It's been a pretty quiet morning. Well, if you ignore the fact that ds11 and ds8 have been after each other ALL morning

Dishes are done, laundry is in the washer & dryer, what's out is folded & ready to put away. Dinner is in the crockpot. I need to pay on dd17's lunch account. Later pick her up. Maybe go to the local library with dd15.

Tonight, knitting & watching a movie w/ the fam.

Going to my dad's later on today to do his meds...have to stop by pharmacy & pick up some refills for him. General cleaning and sorting again today...never ending job!

I haven't got much of anything done this AM, and we are going to WM (an hour away) because my glasses are ready.

I think we'll pick up a bucket 'o' chicken and call it a day. By the time DH and I both do our errands, it will be evening.

Maybe some knitting tonight.....

Started decluttering the bathroom closet

Did my dishcloth knit a long

Did my sock knit along
