    Default Waste not Wednesday, 8/11/2010

    You don't know how happy I am to see the middle of the week arrive. It'll be work as usual from 8:30-5 with lunch at home, and I know already that one of my "waste-not" choices will be to take a reusable water bottle with me and to cube some hotdog and hamburger buns I have laying around for croutons later. If I have time during the day, I also want to seek out the recycling center so I can reduce our trash. Wish I could tell "the powers that be" that when they hide the recycling center, it makes it hard on people to actually use it!

    Good morning!

    Working 9 until whenever the doctors are done, usually 7 p.m.
    Lunch is from a drug rep
    Dinner is free pizza that we have coupons saved up for
    Swimming after work in the pool, since it's hot out again.
    Only money spent will probably be a sweet tea from McDonalds

    Today is a no spend day. Staying home and cleaning.
    Put a turkey breast in the crock pot for dinner tonight. Will make rice dressing with it. I did a batch of refrigerator dough yesterday, so I'm going to use some of it for dinner rolls tonight.
    Collected 2 eggs from the hens today.

    On a roll today!

    -homemade blueberry bar for breakfast for Wesley & I
    -leftovers for lunch at work, homemade cayenne pretzels for snack
    -packed hubby a lunch and some snacks in case he didn't get to come home for dinner
    -Froze leftover spaghetti sauce
    -Froze leftover taco meat
    -Preassembled and individually wrapped burritos made out of leftovers, then froze.
