Waste Not Wednesday 9/6/10

Our Soccer Season starts today for my VIP (very important players) team - children with disabilities!! We have such a good time!!

So, first there is school, then special education meeting. By 3:30 PM I will be setting up the portable goals and dragging the euipment from my car. Fortunately there are always a lot of people to help.

Need to remember to take my camera too!!

The rest of the day/night - home, dinner, shower, bed - love these kids, but they exhaust me (in a wonderful way!!)

Soccer season starts???? There is an end to it???? Someone forgot to tell us that here. I never realized when the boys started in this sport that it would develop into the year round monster it has become. They love it though and it's good for them so we let the monster stay.

As for today. It's work and then some form of excersize while waiting to pick DS#2 up from practice. I'll drop him at home and pick up DS#1 from practice and then go home and start the evening routine of dinner, laundry, lunches, and so on. Hopefully I can get back out to the flower beds and finish laying down the weed guard and retaining wall. Not too exciting a day but it should at least be productive if I finish up the next section outside.

This new school/work schedule is kicking my rear end! DH is gone to work out of town, and will be for the school year. So it's simply up to me to get the 3 kids and myself out the door and be productive members of society! lol I know, I'm overly dramatic!

So, as I try to find my new routine, on my list today I need to do a load of laundry, do some general straightening in the kitchen/dining/living rooms, and start working on my budget. Sadly, I've let that slide this summer. Time to whip it into shape!

I don't have kids in school, but I have a heck of a time trying to get a work/home chore schedule down. Work for me today. I brought lunch, so no spending there. Will be doing some straightening of my spare bedroom tonight, was cleaning closets over the weekend, and that room took the brunt of it! Have a great day!

Woke up late (for me) and I haven't been able to shake the sleepies since then.

Got Diva up, fed and off to school - the rest of the day is mine since the ex is picking her up today.

Making applesauce for the first time, and then realized I didn't have any cinnamon!

Got a 3 1/4oz bottle of it for 88 cents!

Took the little one to get his shots today. He had four and is caught up until he starts kindergarten. Free at the Health Department.

Laundry and dinner and watched Master Chef.
