Waste Not Wednesday

What's everyone up to today? Kinda gloomy & overcast here, nice and cool though for a summer day - perfect weather if you ask me

Already done
* dishwasher
* DH's lunch & coffee packed, dropped at work
* dragged in the garbage bins

Hoping to do
* fold remainder of laundry
* strip the bed & air out - needs to be flipped, must wait for DH to do this

* make a drop at Goodwill
* prep savings envelopes for next year's activities
* clean bathroom
* de-hair the carpet sweeper
* run roomba
* update address book
* prep medication list for dad

I hope to stay in today and not 'waste' any money on unnecessary things. Did some stockpiling yesterday, ran errands - all the money was spent yesterday

~lunch packed and ate bfast at home
~filled water glass with free ice from cafeteria and avoiding buying drinks all day with that
~took hamburger out for dinner so won't be tempted to eat out

To Do

~towels tonight in cold
~using up last of veggies with burgers
~laying out school clothes with boys so we know what they actually NEED to get this weekend.

Nice lazy day today.

Gave cat medicine, took walk, watered plants. Later on will keep on knitting scarf and sit on the balcony with cat. Seems to really like the sun bathing.

Also need to do the dishes and straighten up around here.

Right now I'm making batter bread...then I'm heading out to the garage to paint or prime more kitchen cupboard doors...can't believe it is the last day of August...

So far I have helped the kids with a few subjects for homeschooling, dragged them to my doctor's appointment (5 weeks till my due date), and then was a very very good girl by coming straight home. It was so tempting to stay out for a while and shop, but I was good and the money will stay in my wallet.

I hope to get some more cleaning done in the garage and cook at least one more meal for the freezer to be used when the baby comes.

I have already done a lot this morning. This afternoon I need to get the ironing done and pizza made for supper.

Hurt my back yesterday---or rather woke up with it hurting badly. I think it's actually worse today. Ugh.

It's looking like a good day to get some knitting done.

I'm working on matching sweater/bonnet/booties for my niece's twins (to be born end of October).
