Waste Not Wednesday, 9/7/11
Good morning!!
Well, I'm going to jump back on the wagon and start holding myself accountable! Gosh, who knew it would be so difficult?!?
This is the kids' 2nd week of school. The girls love it; our son HATES it. Oh well, can't win 'em all! lol So it's school for the kids, and work for me. DH was supposed to deploy this week, but it's been delayed a month. He is NOT a happy camper.
After school and work we don't have any activities. YAY! I need to do 1 load of laundry and then focus on cleaning out my bedroom. It's getting rather scary in there!
Have a great day!

Good morning. It's overcast and cool here today. It looks like it could start raining at any moment so I'll ride the bike. I need to brush the dogs, fill out some paperwork for the church, work on organizing my closet, do my bible study and whatever else comes along. We're having a simple supper-sloppy joes and zucchini fries.

I've got a pot of beans going in the crockpot. I'm going to take the leftovers and make burritos for the freezer. Also have a pot of veggie/beef soup and I'll make some cornbread too. Any leftover cornbread goes in the freezer towards my big pan of chicken and dressing that I do on Thanksgiving. Let's see...there's also a homegrown chicken sitting in a brine in the fridge for tomorrow.
I took some of the last tomatoes (heirloom) from the garden and I'm starting the process of cleaning and drying out the seeds to save. I also started a batch of homemade vanilla and ordered a bulk order of fresh vanilla seeds. So I'll be in vanilla for quite a long time.
