    Talking Wonderful Wednesday

    Hello all! The air was crisp and cool this morning. It was really nice.

    Today I am doing laundry, again! I have to take dd to soccer practice tonight and pick up dh's uniforms from the cleaners. Not much else on my to do list.

    Good morning! I'm feeling a little better, but not 100%. Still can't smell or taste. I hate that!

    Continuing with our storm prep today.

    As my illness allows, I need to wash 2 loads of laundry and hang them out. The rest I'll do with the dryer today. Need to get that caught up.

    Tidy house
    bake cookies and "stuff" lol
    clip coupons and go through shop rite ad for free or near free stuff

    take it easy today, need to get better for the weekend. Ashlee has her first band competition and I'm a chaperone! In fact I'm chaperoning all but 2 competitions and they are the ones we'll be in Florida for, lol. This is my high school band, so I'm reliving my teen years through my DD ROFL!

    I'm up & dressed early today as we have a guy that "might" come either today or tomorrow to cut down a few trees that are a hazard.Guess where next years firewood is coming from? Hope he comes today so I don't have to sit around & wait for him. I've got places to go & people to see,lol.

    I'll putter around the house doing some cleaning I guess. Cookie baking needs to be done. I think I'll make some snickerdoodles or Chocolate crinkle ones. Executive decision must be made.

    Not much going on today
    vacced the lvingroom and office area need to do the laundry room hall
    We have all the windows and 1 large door open the breeze is so nice!
    Need to finish up the breakfast dishes (just werved dh!)
    Then will either veg with the TV or work on some auctions!

    today it's a cool 50* right now so the heat is on lol
    todays list of things to do are
    studied
    cleaned kitchen
    washed 7 put dishes away
    took meds
    had coffee & breakfast
    changed water filter
    talked to my dad
    take towels out of the dryer & fold them

    So far today:

    I have worked on my charity crocheting/quilting. homesteadingmomma- I WILL try to get a block done for the challenge as well. The one I did, was not quite 12 1/2 inches- not sure what I did wrong.

    Took out 2 storm windows- caulked them, scraped them (ready to paint tomorrow when the caulk has set) painted the inside window frames.

    2 loads of laundry

    Picked up what few black walnuts are down in the yard so far. Put them in the driveway, so we can knock the hulls off.

    Took a lost lady to the house she was trying to find- about 5 miles from me. She was driving, but couldn't find the house she needed to be at for work (she workes for IL Valley- helping the elderly in their homes).

    Packing BBQ pork sandwiches, baby carrots, rice crispie treats for the girls supper.

    I'll take my books and crocheting and study/crochet while they dance.

    It is 9:30 at night--but better late than never!

    DD was a handful today!!! She would not nap at all which is unlike her. We went for her one-month pediatrician appt. today and she is doing fine health-wise.

    She may just be fussy after spending Monday afternoon at Disneyland--too much for her.

    Hopefully she'll stay asleep now and sleep well tonight (knock-wood) Maybe tomorrow will be better.

    On the upside--I got a lot of housework done. This house is getting cleaner and more clutter-free each day!

    Well, I'm off to bed--GOOD NIGHT
