    Wink What's up Wednesday thread

Sorry Lisa, didn't see this one yet today

    I feel like Superwoman today!
    By noon I had already:
-washed, dried, folded 3 loads of clothes

-got all four kids out of the house by 9:15am

-went to SuperWalmart & paid on the school layaway (forgot packing tape & a drawstring bag for my change....)

-went to the credit union. Cashed my check. Deposited about 40% in the savings. Got my $25 bank for tonight ($12 in ones, 2 fives, and $3 in change)

-went to the commissary & got one month's worth of groceries (minus bread, milk, and fresh stuff) for $270 including tip ;-)

-went to the Shoppette & filled up my gas tank WHOO HOO!! Gas is below $3/gallon again. It "only" cost $54 to fill up the Mom Van. Poor MV hasn't had a full tank in over a month because I've just been putting $20-40 in at a time and that barely gets me 1/4-3/4 of a tank. I hope the price continues to drop, but I doubt it. I figured I would fill up while the price was right.

-Came home and unloaded & put away all the groceries - with the exception of dividing up a package of hamburger.

-got the kids lunch - brought home leftover Ruby Tuesday last night. I brought home almost $100 in free food last night. It was our last night of training!

Tonight is opening night at Ruby Tuesday. Wish my lots of $$$ and luck LOL! Oh and probably some sanity thrown in for good measure.

Now I'm off to go back to Walmart for the packing tape and a drawstring bag before I go iron my uniform. Gotta be to work by 3:30pm.

    Have a great day all!

Hey Heather, good Luck! I remember what it's like. I worked at chi chi's when they first opened here back in the 80's. Preopening was lots of fun and lots of free food.
Today I am home with my DD who is ill and out for 2nd day and school just started last week. Hopefully this will be a better year after today.
Not doing much, picked a few tomatoes and catching up on a few other small things.

    Feeling pretty productive today myself.

Washed a load of laundry which I am about to hang.
Cleaned playroom and main floor of the house
Went to Walmart and avoided temptation, got stuff on my list.
Drove a half hour to pick up 2 Freecycled babygates for my childcare business
Babysitting two little girls this afternoon, we will make cookies and take a walk to the bank so I can deposit a check I just received.
A mom is coming to interview me about watching her kids.

Good luck, Heather! Make lots of tips!

I am ill, today. My DH came home at lunch and tracked mud all over the carpet in our bedroom. Really made me mad!

I have swished and swiped the 2 downstairs toilets, made my bed, vacuumed the two area rugs, gathered up all the trash, showered to shoes, took a nap (hehe), emptied dishwasher and reloaded breakfast and lunch dishes, folded 2 loads of towels, washed and dried a load of clothes, and I have dinner in the crockpot and a side of slaw in the refrigerator........................and I still have mud on my carpet!!!!!!!

Hope everyone has a Happy Hump Day!

Well, not as efficient, but nonetheless... Got a load of laundry washed, gonna go get it to dry here in a minute. Got a new needle for my record player (mmmmmmmmmmmm, Fleetwood Mac...). Made plans with my mom to move into his new apartment using Mom's BF's truck. Cleaned out my bedroom closet (it was really dusty in there!). Got a few other chores to do but otherwise am doing pretty good!

Hey Heather I'm thrilled you started it. Never hesitate, anyone..... .

I've been busy but not as productive as Heather today.

    I worked out
    showered, hair and makeup
Took my dmom and ddad out to eat for ddad's b.d.
Gripey and I went to town to buy supplies and groceries
We hit Bealls' on the way and I got 1 pair of capris ($7.00 with coupon) and 1pair of white jeans ($6 with coupon)
Came home, unloaded groceries and supplies, put away
Spent some time in the pool (about 1.5 hours)
Went to mom and dad's to take dad a flag we got him for his b.d.
Helped mom bake him a cake for the b.d.
Came home and picked the garden w/Gripey
    Washed up the bounty
Dug out jars from the stg. shed, put into dishwasher, washed
Ate cereal for supper, it was too late to cook when we got finished.

Ok, I didn't too bad for the day either.

~48 yr. old sahw, livin' it up in our empty nest, smack dab in the middle of everywhere.~
