    Default Wonderful Wednesday

Well its 7:30 am and its 47 outside and I've managed not to turn the heat on.
Sent DH off to the Orlando jobsite at 6:30
Put the recycles and yard waste out including the Christmas tree
    Gotten dressed
    Made the bed
    Fed the furbags
Had 2 mugs of go juice

    On the plan for today:
Get DD up, fed and to school
Baths for dogs this afternoon when it warms up
One load of landry to wash and 2 loads to put away
A trip to Tampa to pick up check from General Contractor
Spend an hour working on New Years Goal of filing magazine stuff
    Make dinner
Run vaccum (found another puppy under bookcase)
Bake something with bananas that are about to go bad

    Morning all!
It's cold again this morning. 17 right now. I don't even want to set foot outside the door, but I have to...

    *go grocery shopping
    *pick up RX from Walgreens
*do a little cleaning around the house

    Stay warm everyone

Is 9:30 here in North Carolina. Got below freezing here last night so had to turn the heat on. Was around 28 when I woke up this morning. My 2 year old didn't sleep good last night so I am extremely exhausted. I am working on my 3rd cup of coffee and desire to do anything but sit here wrapped in my quilt. Hubby is off to work, and other 3 kids are off to school. Pulled some groundbeef out of the freezer for dinner....need to decide what to do with it. Last night I slow cooked my chicken carcass for chicken stock, first attempt at doing this. I really hope the stock tastes good, the house sure did smell good this morning. My ds 9 thought I was crazy though, he woke up thinking I was cooking dinner already.

So far today I'm doing well: Got ds1 off to school. Ds2 is home with pinkeye, so I've got him fed and he is happily ensconsed in playing video games. Laundry is done! Chicken is marinating for tonight's dinner. Played fetch with the dogs for half an hour instead of going for a walk since I can't leave ds2 alone. Ooh, I may have time for a nap this afternoon!! I also strted copying recipes out of my endless supply of cookbooks. New Years' resolution is to get rid of all the junk--I only use a few of the recipes and the food bank is always looking for cookbooks, so it's a win-win situation.

    Have a good one, guys!!

I hope to finish moving the pantry storage shelves today, didn't finish yesterday. But the "curtains" I made for them worked great, so I can live with it all in the dining room rather than an inconvenient closet.

I think the apt complex exterminator is coming after while, so I better clean up the kitchen so they won't think any bugs are my fault!! (Actually, we have never had any at all here.)

Still settling in the new cats, who adore the parking lot view, so are requiring less attention from me now that I gave them window seats with cushions. Ahh, the life of a cat!

Have to go to work this afternoon. Back to the grind after my two days off.
