Today we have to drive into the city (3 hrs. one way) so that dd can have her music lessons. I know, its a long way to drive but well worth it. Her music teacher is an angel and works so well with her.

Did all my baking yesterday, so when we get back, will help dh finish working on the addition to his workshop. Were using mostly recycled material. I already have the paint to paint it and its called "million dollar red". Thought that was very appropriate for a recycled workshop!!

Hope everyone has a great day.

Today will be a low key day here. The dd's need bloodwork, so we'll be going to the lab Afterwards, we'll hit McDonalds for a couple of happy meals, and some playtime.

At home, I'll be cooking some chicken and italian sausga for dinner Thursday and Friday. I'll maybe make some applesauce too. I bought 5 pounds of apples for 50 cents yesterday

    Have a good day everyone!

Happy Wednesday! Tonight I am baby-sitting for my friend’s 6-month old baby girl from 6:00-8:30. I am really looking forward to it because her baby is such a cutie-pie!

After that I will come home and try and pick up around the house before going to bed.

I have been so lazy lately. Last night I just sat around and watched tv. I didn’t even cook dinner. I need to get a schedule set for after work so that I stay productive rather than just sitting on the couch.

How do you all stay motivated to get stuff done around the house? Do you use lists? Do you have routines?

Each evening I’d like to make this my routine:

    Come home from work
Get mail, sort through and throw out junk
    Change clothes
    Start dinner
Make beds (if not made yet)
    General house pickup
Check email, package any shipments from sales
    Eat dinner
    Do dishes
    Pack lunches for following day
Set coffee maker for following morning
Decide on next nights dinner and defrost whatever is needed
    Take out contacts
    Wash face
    Put on PJ’s
Lay out clothes for following day
Relax, Watch TV, Internet, Clip Coupons, etc.
    BED!

Last night, this was my routine! LOL

    Come home from work
    Get mail, set on counter
    Check email
    Change clothes
    Paid Bills, Balance checkbook
    Reheat leftovers for my dinner
    Updated items on www.half.com
    Watch tv
Take out contacts, wash face, put on pj’s
    BED

    Hmmm....definitely has room for improvement!

Today I have my group meeting, as I do every Wednesday. DD has a physical therapy assessment at the hospital. Dh is taking her to that. I will take the baby with me to my meeting. Then I plan to:

    Pick up around the house
Maybe go to Wal-Mart and K-Mart and look for sales
    Nothing else is really planned.

    Have a great day everyone!

    Default Good morning!

DH wants me to bring him lunch because he's working down the street. I like to see him, but it really messes up my day sometimes. I take the baby so he can see her during the day. I think I've been kinda productive so far today.

    So far I have:

Made breakfast so NOT like me!
While baby took a nap, DD's and I went down the basement to clean up the Barbie mess they made. I was on spider patrol. After they were done, I freshened the carpet and vacuumed. It's shaping up down there! I removed 3 empty boxes and still have 1 contractor bag full of trash to take out.
    Did 2 loads of wash
Got DH lunch at the store
Took 3 bags of trash from upstairs out to the trash

    Still have to:
    Take DH lunch
    Watch soaps
Clean up breakfast dishes and run dishwasher
    brown ground meat for dinner
    put away laundry
take ebay pictures and list later
DH championship game is on tv tonight!

I'm gearing up for Flylady's super fling boogie. Have to check the date, but I have some stuff ready to "move on". Will post in the declutter challenge thread.

Breakfast: scrambled eggs and toast, tea
    Lunch: leftover tacos
    Dinner: beef stew

Have a great day! Thank you God for the rain today!

Well, today has been very productive for me so far. I'm feeling really good about Wacky Wednesday!

    So far, I've:
Had a super ShopRite trip (read about it in Town Crier)
swept, dry Swiffered, wet Swiffered, and vacuumed the entire house
I have laundry going right now, and I'll be hanging up a load in our closets in about 10 minutes
Scheduled all my piano lessons for the fall (I'm thrilled that I have picked up enough students after school that it will be paying for my daughters daycare)

    I still have to:
teach a 1 hour piano lesson
    scrub the bathroom
finish the next 2 loads of laundry
    make dinner
    go to pharmacy

    So far, a good day!

Breakfast: 1 bowl Special K with skim milk
    Lunch: left over roast beef
Dinner: chicken patties and rice-a-roni (I'm not a gourmet on piano lesson nights)
So far, I've had 2 glasses of water, but working toward more.

Hi everyone! Boy, what a lazy day I am having! Today is my only day off from work this week, and I don't want to get started! The house is clean, but there are so many things I need to get done. O, well. Maybe tomorrow.

So, on that note, I'm not even going to make a list!

I have been so busy lately I haven't even had time to post.
    So far I have been able to find a new place to move to but nothing will be in writing until after the inspection {around Sept. 17th}
I have got laundry caught up
    went to a Samoan bbq {for friends who are moving to California}
    figured out what furniture I am taking with me when I move {this place is TINY}
turned in paperwork for inspection of new place
went through my trades I received in the mail
    got garbage out
pulled weeds out of the cracks on the patio
    got trade ready for mail

still have a lot of other things to do but not in a hurry so while it is still hot & beautiful outside I am going to enjoy the day and doing a little here & there for the next few weeks.
I will begin to pack a few things that I will be moving as well as helping my daughter clean up around here.
