Wonderful Wednesday

Today is my and dh 9th anniversary (he says it seem longer)

I told him that is because he insisted we live together for 6 years first! Today dd and I need to go to the bakery store, and the grocery for a couple of things. I'll make dh's favorite dinner, lasagna, he works until aroun 2:30, then has to be back at 10:00pm to change major wire at some businesses electric.
Other than that just need to do a little housework,

a little bit more. Have a great day!

Morning all. I have been awake since 4. Why I dont know. I will go back to bed sometime today. The boys have dental appts today. Only place we are going.
I have already:
fed cats
cleaned cat boxes
emptied dishwasher
straightened living room
straightened kitchen
I need to do the bathrooms today and make my bed. After I get out of it again. Have a good day

Happy Anniversary Julie!

Looks like it's gonna be another hot one today. Hopefully, we will finally get some of that rain they have been talking about all week. Had sprinklers going everywhere yesterday evening.

House is pretty well in order except for one load of clothes that needs to be folded and put away. Critters fed early this morning and garden picked. I gave away 3 good messes of squash yesterday evening, LOL. I decided to take them by surprise! I waited until supper time, drove up, knocked on the screen door and they hollered "Come on in", and I walked into the kitchen and sat each bag in the middle of the table and said "I brought ya'll some squash." People around here don't ask who you are. Of course I had to sample a little something at each house and stay a minute or two and talk a bit, but it worked. Went to aunt and uncle's house after unloading the squash and packed up 46 bushels of corn in banana boxes. That's 60 ears per box...a lotta corn. Of the 16 I sold around here, I delivered 8 and the other 8 were picked up by the people who bought them. DH loaded the 30 bushels he sold to the guys at work on his trailer and took them with him this morning. There were 2-1/2 bushels left over and uncle Harold gave it to me for helping him sell all his corn. So I will be creaming corn today. I have a new fangled creamer that shucks, silks and creams the corn for you using your electric drill, so MAYBE, LOL, it won't be too much of a ordeal.

Well today is a hot one. Working 6-3:40 today. Go home do laundry, tidying up. Hopefully we will get some rain otherwise need to water some things. Then this evening while watching dancing with the stars I will sew.

Going to straighten up the house, vaccumn, wash and hang out a load or two of laundry, swipe the bathrooms, lay in the pool, dinner, then ....ZUMBA Dance class arounf 7 pm.

Morning all. it's overcast and warm here this morning. I am expecting the pool man to be here soon to clean. ( He will chat and have coffee when done.) So far I have:* Walked
*Made bed, straightened bedroom
*Did pet chores, gave meds(Dog has horrible case of poison ivy)
*Cleaned sunroom
* Watered all the houseplants
Still need to:
*Pay a few bills
*Clean lower level bathrooms
* Work in the garden with neighbor

Gonna be another hot one here also, in the 90's.
Watered the flowers & garden this morning.
Vacuumed the rug, did the dishes.
Started repainting my laundry room cabinets.
Have to work for 1:30 -10:00pm

It's going to be ANOTHER hot day here. Supposed to reach 97. Hopefully the rain their calling for comes, we really need it. The lawn looks terrible.
On my agenda today is cleaning and laundry. Typical day for me.

It is going to be another wet day here. It rained on and off all day yesterday and then we had some really hard thunderstorms with some scarey lightening. We are suppose to have more of that today. So far we have had some light rain all morning.

I need to put together our new dining table and chairs that finally came in today. Funny thing....this is the first NEW table and chairs DH and I have ever had since we have been married, been married 20 years. We have always had hand me downs, garage sale, etc., but never brand spanking new. I am excited about it. The table and chair we have are in really great shape, but it is way too big for our dining area. There is hardly no room in there and I wanted space.

I have some cleaning to do today, especially in the laundry room because our new washer is being delivered tomorrow. Those extra hours DH has put in traveling sure paid off. He is going on another business trip after we get back from vacation. LOL! This time the money is going in the EF. The table was something we wanted, but the washer was something we needed since the other is on it's last toe.

I also have some homework to do and submit before the end of the week.

Today is another HOT HOT HOT one! It was already in the 80s when I left the house at 9am to get groceries. I've gotten groceries, now I'm home trying to cool off before I have to be to work at noon. After work I have to stop by Price Chopper for their loss leaders. Then I plan on invading the kids' wading pool

Preferably with an ice cream cone in my hand lol.

Just came home from work for a bite of lunch and to sit something out for supper. It's a hot day here today so I'll probably be lazy when I get back home this afternoon.

It's hot here, too, today but it's summer in SE Virginia ~ it's always hot!

I just fed the dogs their lunch and they have been walked. I am trying to get up energy to go bake something and do the dishes. I also have some laundry to finish up.

Tonight we'll watch baseball like we do every night

Today has been really hot here too. About 94. There is rain just south of us, but we haven't gotten anything except the rumble of thunder.
So far I have
~walked a mile this morning
~ did 1 load of laundry
~ went to Make and take and made 6 meals.. there was a discount for teachers today...what I walk away with is really 10 meals
~watched DD and DS in the pool

We are going to tball tonight and then I have to go to calling hours for a friend who's sister passed away.

I hope we get some of that rain too... we REALLY need it here also!!
