    Just myself on the bride's side - didn't even tell my crazy family It would have been just dh on the grooms side..but they accidently found out...and his siblings and mom came down. That made a whopping 4

    That is so us. Simple, easy-go'in folk....just as much today as 16 years ago

    We had a bit less than 100 but had to be around 80...

    Our invitation list included over 500 people. We sent open invitations to both churches and places of employment.

    Due to extremely adverse weather conditions (temp -24 degrees, wind chill -98 degrees, blizzard) ONLY about 385 actually showed up.

    Lets see,my mom,dad,step mom,2 sisters,brother,mil,fil,dh brother and his wife,dh sister and her husband.I think that's 13.We just called them up a week ahead of time and said meet us at this chaple at this time or or wedding.

    ~My Parents
    ~His Parents
    ~our siblings (2 for me and 3 for him) (his 2 sisters sobbed loudly and unconcrollably ...and not happy tears neither )
    ~two BIL's(trying to ignore their silly wives)
    ~his best friend and accompanying fiance
    ~my two best friends
    ~my oldest son and one young niece
    ~preacher and wife

    how many is that........umm....19!
    OH YEAH...plus me and James
    ok 21 then..lol

    We had about 75. I had 14 kids in the wedding. I was a preschool teacher at the time and used my whole class.

    My husband and I got married in Costa Rica in May 2001. It was just the two of us--we both wanted to avoid our families and the stress of planning a wedding! It was so incredible, I'm so glad we did it.

    At our wedding was us two, the two owners of the B&B where the wedding took place(witnesses), the bi-lingual lawyer who performed the ceremony, the Costa Rican photographer we hired and a worker at the B&B who held our video camera! LOL

    When we got home we had a reception with all the family & friends which was about 125 people! DH has a huge family--so 75% of the people were his!

    I don`t remember exactly but it was around 125-150 people, 80 % family on my side, a few friends and the rest my dh family!

    I was the first grandchild to get married on my parents side...
    I was 22 yrs.
    Lots of children at our wedding...

    We had 6 people, my Mom and Dad, DD and DS, his cousin and her DD. We did not want a big wedding and did not even tell most people until afterwards.

    well we just put an invite in the church bulletin. The church ahd about 300 member and almost 200 showed up (free food tends to do that!)
    we only sent invites to out of town friends and none of them came.
