We have a wedding to go to!

My girls are SO excited. They haven't been to a wedding before. We aren't in a position to buy any dresses, especially since winter is here soon and I don't like them wearing dresses in cold weather. I am compromizing. In the fabrics I have at home, I'm making them skirts. DD8 will have a silver skirt. Made from a quilted fabric. I think DD10 will get an applique'd denim skirt. I'll figure out some tops too. I've enough of a fabric stash that the only thing I might require is zippers.

The little one, I think I have a dress in the closet that she may have grown into, otherwise, it's quick to put something together for her.

I made my dd a darling pair of simple stretch knit and elestic waste band shorts with lace that she wore before she went to school and then to kindergarten.

Then I gave them to my sister for my neice and she wore them for a year and then finally they sold in a garage sale.
