Hello!
I am new here, I found this site a long time ago and never got a chance to come back until recently.
I live in SW FL with my SO (I call him DH in my posts) and our 2 kids, DD is 4 and DS is 3. I have always been frugal, careful with money, whatever you want to call it. Sometimes it's tiring to have people look at me funny when I talk about saving money and different tightwad things I do, but I enjoy it and don't plan to stop anytime soon, if ever. They can think I'm wierd, I don't mind too much.
I get the last laugh when I can do so many more things by stretching our money and not worry about mounting debt. DH isn't as frugal as me, he has "entitlement" issues, but we're working on it.
I like to get the most bang for my (or DH's) hard earned buck. Almost every piece of furniture in our house (and we don't have much, LOL) was given to us, inherited, or curb crawled. Ok, my computer desk is new, but I got it for 50% off, LOL. I have dumpster dived and miss it so much.
