Hah! It's about time we turn the monthly calendar page.

I got a free nasal spray for cold / allergy with coupon + sale.

I was given a geranium as a thank-you gift from one of my Sunday School students.

We were sent home after a family party on Saturday with leftovers that included the equivalent of four six-inch Subway sandwiches, a bag of cookies and a box of crackers.

My daughter also was sent home from college last week with overflow food from her roommates and friends who didn't have space / didn't want to haul it home.

There are food pantry donation boxes in the dorm rooms, so I was a little reluctant about the college food. But daughter said she did put quite a bit in the donation bins ... she brought home only what she thought we'd most likely use: Bag of chocolate chips, several mini boxes of cereal, assorted pop cans and bottle of vanilla extract among them.

I was wanting a magazine rack for the bathroom and an organizer tray for my desk (it needed it!). Well, I was helping my mom clean/sort/dump at her house and she had a magazine rack that was my Gramma's that she wasn't really using and a organizer tray she was going to get rid of!! Now they're mine!!! Woot!

Also, I was needed a small purse for summertime (I usually just put everything in my coat pockets...coats are needed here about 8-9 months of the year, so it works). She had a small one that was also in the "give away" pile. Got that, too!
