We are expecting our first baby in July and Dh's cousin has a one year old and gave us a ton of stuff:
8 receiving blankets
A giant bag of maternity clothes (we are the same size!)
A bassinette
A really nice swing
A baby sling/carrier
An exersaucer
We were sooo excited and soo grateful, they also have some things in storage that they are going to give to us!

- 2 Liter Cola

It is amazing. When you start to watch the pennies, your blessings really multiply. I started seriously working the budget yesterday and went to the grocery store determined to stay within a certain amount and this is how it turned out. GREAT!

This was in the last days of December, but I'm going to cheat and post it here I'm so happy about it --
Free computer tech! A couple of the super nice guys in our systems department took on my poor computer as a charity case and it is running unbelievably better. I hate to think what this would have cost me if I had had to pay for it.
I am very lucky to work with a lot of the nicest people around.Donna
