Question What did you get for free in December 2010?

With Santa possibly coming, this list ought to be something!

Someone a street over from where I live apparently decided they didn't like anything in their house. They put the following out for trash, but ended up coming home with me instead:

    (2) Sony tower speakers. Sound great, look decent, went home with a friend.
    (3) TV trays. Will look good once cleaned, went home with another friend who just got an apartment.
Japanese-styled table lamp. Very cool looking, excellent shape. Went home with the same apartment friend.
Floor-standing oscillating fan. Runs perfect, will go in the garage for summer.
Bathroom rugs. Not sure yet. Once washed, it might go in one of our bathrooms. Otherwise, it will be donated.

There was a lot of other stuff set out when I drove by, but I wanted to run some errands first. When I went back, a lot of stuff was already gone. Trash came Friday, so it's all gone now. Hopefully, they will continue putting stuff out there.
