How much we enjoy what we have is more important than how much we have. Life is full of people who have more than they know what to do with, but cannot be content. It is the capacity to enjoy life that brings contentment.---Unknown

we're having oven fried chicken tenders, au gratin potatoes, and butter peas. If someone wants something else, there is leftover spaghetti in the fridge as well.

Our nephew is having a graduation party.

I'm taking a pan of rice.

I'm not sure what they are having, but I've heard, meatballs, lil smokies, pork chops, potato salad, chips. We'll see when we get there. You never know until you're there what they'll have.

    Hopefully it won't be raining.

I am cooking a big 'ole pot of pinto beans (for making homemade refried beans) and decided I'd fry up a skillet full of potatoes & onions and bake some cornbread muffins on the side.

    Good 'ole country, comfort food.

    Mmmmm, mmmmm, mmmmmm!

Ooops I thought I had posted.

We were going to have Spaghetti Bolognaise but DBF felt like going out for snitzel night so that's where we went.
He had a double ice cream at the take away shop afterwards, but I waited to have fruit and a small scoop of ice cream after I had taken my bsl. Snizel wasn't as bad as I thought for my bsl.
