Default What's for Dinner? Wed 7/20?

Since we didn't have the chicken last night we'll be having that tonight. I'm hoping that the first tomatoes of the year will be coming out of the garden for dinner as well.

    Enjoy those tomatoes Heather!
Full house as Bil, Sil & their 2 kids, Nicole & her bf will be joining Jack & I for dinner. Bil & family will be spending the night & heading back to NC in the morn.
Jack & Sam will be grilling up some Beer Butt Chicken & I'm doing a make ahead mashed potato casserole & tossed salad. Dessert will be choice of Sherbet or Peanut Butter cup ice cream. Easy, tasty dinner and I get to visit with them & not fuss.

Enjoy your family tonight, Darlene! It's funny, I have such a picture in my head of your kitchen and what you all look like around your table.

    We're having beef stroganoff.

Either ham. turkey & cheese sandwiches, or a tomato sandwich and then if still hungry a campbells classic tomato soup at hand. Not feeling great today so I want to keep it light but filling.

I think I will be making lentil pottage with the veggies I have on hand, some salad, and I may try some homemade bread. Pears and maple syrup for dessert

We had buffet night last night and could probably do it again! We will have Sloppy Joes, green beans from the garden and hopefully some yummy finds from the farmer's market later.

We have a t-ball game at dinner time again If it doesn't get canceled due to rain (20% chance of rain my butt, I don't think weather casters even LOOK at the freaking radar).

So I'll be pre-assembling tatertot casserole for dd to put in the oven while we are gone. Some kind of veggie too, probably green beans.
