Not sure when hubby will get home, a few of the guys at the PO are taking him out after work since it's his last day to work there. Can't believe his retirement day is here. Zowie, it boggles the mind! :woohoo1:I was crying last night when he was talking about saying goodbye to the guys that have the weekend off & now today everyone else. Not a tear in his eye though. Maybe today he'll get a bit misty eyed.

We'll be celebrating that tomorrow but tonight dinner will be leftover cheeseburgers, oven fries & carrot & celery sticks.
Congratulations to hubby on his retirement!!!

How do you think he's going to cope with it all? and yourself?

i've been eating all day. had a lot of bread. was suppose to stop there and count that as dinner. then had corn on the cob as a "real" dinner. but i might have a bowl of oatmeal soon so i dont know what my final answer is.

I spent the day in town with DH getting some repairs and an inspection done on my car. It took much longer than I had planned, so DH insisted we pick up Subway for dinner, so that's what we had. First meal this year to not be cooked at home, so I don't feel a bit bad about it, lol.

    Thanks!
He's thrilled and is always outside doing something. Now he'll have time for all that & more.
I told him as long as he doesn't criticize the way I have things or try & take over the kitchen he'll be ok, lol.
