What's for Dinner, Sat 15th May
DBF is working tomorrow so We're having our roast tonight. This week a roast beef mmmm haven't had one in ages. Will do spud and pumpkin and steam soem broccoli. Will make hm gravy from the juices and hopefully make some Yorkies to go with too.

We'll be having leftover rotisseried chicken, leftover orzo salad and umm... some kind of veggie. Think the leftovers will be mostly gone today so tomorrow it's on to something new.

My Dh will be cooking tonight because I cooked all week. If he doesnt want to then it will be pancakes and eggs.

I scored a bag of carrots (2 lb) for $1 as the regional farm market was closing up. We already had most of a 3 lb bag of carrots, so we shredded some carrots and tossed them in with a turkey meatloaf.

DF and I had Midevil Times!

Starter was tomato soup w/shredded carrot & garlic toast (white bread)
Myself: vegetarian option: 1.5c hummus w/1c freshly made pita chip thingys, 1 large skewer of grilled veggies and 1c blln flavoured rice mix - reg white rice, wild rice, dried cranberries, pine nuts and handful of frozen veggies tossed in
DF: regular dinner: 1/2 roasted chicken, 1 beef rib, 2 baked potato halves
Dessert: coffee w/small apple turnover pastry
[Real dessert afterwards was out at a cafe - coffee & cake]2012: The Year Of The Purge!
