    Default What's for Dinner, Sat 10th July

    DS17 caught a rabbit a couple of days ago in a trap so we are having rabbit stew. DBF cooked it in the cp yesterday and will ad veg and rice to it today for dinner.
    Haven't had rabbit since I was a kid.

    I am going out to dinner..........so don't have to cook and don't even have to pay for it........woohoo!

    Lol frugalfranny, enjoy & mum's the word.
    Hope that dinner brought back some nice memories Becci!
    I have some broccoli that needs using so we'll be having homemade Broccoli Pizza.
    You just saute broccoli and garlic in oil, add a bit of salt/garlic salt to taste put on homemmade dough, add cheese & bake. Oh, I'll saute some mushrooms up with it because they need using too.

    We were invited to a cookout last night so I didn't cook my seafood ravioli. I'll either fix that tonight or fresh veggies from the garden that we were gifted.

    We are attending my godparents' s 50th wedding anniversary party tonight. My cousins organised a luau (sp?)
    So we'll be having luau foods! Really excited about that!

    My 13yo and 16 yo are lifegaurding at a friend/co-workers daughters b-day party so the adults can enjoy the party .
    my 9 yo is in the same class but its a girls party as far as who si invied fro school but he is invited along too, to hang with his siblings and her boy relatives.

    SO free dinner - i get to chat with grownups ( yeah ) and the two kids will be making 10$ an hour each for 5 hours of lifeguarding IF the rain goes away !!

    Smile sloppy joes

    We are having sloppy joes with store brand sj sauce and ground turkey, tator tots from the dollar store and a sliced cucumer ( needs to be used up) on the side with ranch dressing.
