Default What's for Dinner, Sat 2nd October

AFL Grand Final take 2 here today. The team drew last week which according tot he silly rule means they have to replay this week. Go Collingwood.

Sausages and vegies here. I made a tonne (well 5 batches or various flavours) scrolls yesterday, so cinnamon or jam scrolls with whipped cream for dessert.

We are having Homemade Chili, nachos for a crowd, and organic blue chips, will probably have salads on the side in case the kids just want a Mexican platter or taco salad. Chocolate zucchini cake for dessert.

I pulled a bit of pork roast(bought a fred flintstone hunk of pork a while ago & cut it into dinner sized roasts & froze) out of the freezer to thaw in the fridge this morn as I was making a master list of what I've got in there. We'll be rotissering that roast and baste it with something good (aka I haven't a clue),lol. On the side will be waxed beans from the garden and Orzo Parmesan.

At the beach this weekend with DH, I had a caesar salad for dinner and he had chinese food. Kids are at home with grandma, so no idea what they are eating.

I made orange chicken from a year of slow cooking blog....we hated it. It was really bitter and just no good.
