One of my own summer free-range chickens is defrosting now! Tomorrow it will be slow- roasted. I'll make butternut squash, stuffing, spinach, and roasted purple potatoes to go along with it.

First day of frugalness for us so we are hitting the frezzer for dinner.

I think I can pull together some frozen chicken fillets and crumb them, some roasted honey adn seasame carrots and some steamed veg.

All of your meals sound yum!!

lisaflex. I can't roast chicken in summer (no central AC lol!) But come the freezing weather, I am so happy to have a healthy, organic meal for my family. I am very grateful that they help sustain us through winter.
