I have a piece of steak to use up so I'm thinking we'll have stroganoff on egg noodles & veggie or bbq beef sandwiches with coleslaw. Hmm...

Sure. The usual recipe is a okt french onion soup powder, 1 can apricot nectar and about 1kh (2lb) chicken piece. Combine together and bake for 1.5 hours or until chicken is tender.

I like to use dutch curry and rice soup mix instead though. Makes a thicker tastier sauce.
Now we have such a large family I double the nectar and add both soup mixes.
we serve with rice and vegies but the best is having hot chips!

Roasted chicken with baked potatoes and green beans. Maybe some bread if I get my rear in gear.

i make casseroles w/ whole wheat noodles often. just as good...noone will know the difference! lol

for the no flavor beef stew from the CP....make sure when you brown it first, that you are using seasoned flour - no need for beef broth - use some red wine and 1 can of low sodium v8 juice...makes a yummy yummy stew that way!!! just an idea.

dh is oot. dd had McD's chix nuggets and a cheeseburger. i bought some california rolls w/ wasabi..and lots of wasabi at that! sinuses all clear...lol
