meatloaf, au gratin potatoes, corn, salad and watermelon.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed, I suck at meatloaf. I have never been able to make it and it turn out right, it always has the texture of taco meat but I found a new recipe so I'm hopeful!

Coney Islands!! I brought the chili back with me from Michigan this summer. The Michiganders on the list will understand the magic of our chili dogs!! Bought two frozen "bricks" of chili from National Coney Island and brought them to Dallas with me. Yummy! Hannah

Care to share the recipe for oven fried chicken and fried corn?

We had oven roasted chicken leg quarters, homemade oven fries and sauteed pumpkin from the backyard.

Chicken soaked in milk or buttermilk ( can add hot sauce if u like) flour with your seasonings. dredge
put on cookie sheet with foil and spray with pam drizzle with butter not much, bake until golden brown (tent with foil)
I broil for a few mins to get it pretty

    Fried corn 2 ways
first take corn on the cob and shuck. cut off the cob until you the milk (liquid) fry in either bacon grease or butter .salt, pepper, and sugar.
    2nd way
take corn in the can. 2 cans and drain 1 can of liquid and discard. fry the same way as the first. I actually prefer butter , my besite prefer's bacon grease. hugs

ODS treated us to pizza. I think he was worried it was going to be breakfast or meatloaf again.
