Slow cooker baked beans and cornbread muffins. Coming home to a great smelling house and dinner that practically cooked itself? Priceless!

Oh my, I want to come to your house for dinner, smart b'day girl with those pics. Happy B'day to her!
Tonight we'll be having a stew of sorts. I got this recipe from my dd and call it Nicole's Beef Stuff, lol. It's not like your normal stew with veggies in it, mostly cubes of meat simmering in a tomato based sauce in crockpot and served on rice. All that said, I am using cubed Venison we got from dd's fiance in place of the cubed beef. I'll probably make a salad to go on the side.~*Darlene*~

Oheoh'smom, great birthday dinner for your dd. I feel like crashing the party just so I can enjoy those great food choices. Happy birthday to your dd.
Darlene, your dinner sounds good. My dh doesn't like stew.
We are having leftover meatloaf. I am hoping that I have a box of scalloped potatoes in the pantry since we are trying to eat the pantry down and I will make that too. There is a little mac-n-cheese leftovers too. Will serve a veggie too. If for no one else than myself. The meatloaf is loaded with canned mushrooms and onions. So, the guys will still get some veggies in.

I think spaghetti with a little Italian sausage and a lot of veggies in the sauce. Salad. No bread unless DH insists. We're on a diet.
