Baked pasta with veggie "sausage" spinach, red peppers, onions, mushrooms. Very good.

Makes a vat but this time I'm going to freeze half of it to have in a couple months so I don't get sick looking at the 10th consecutive serving.

Also made a raspberry/almond breakfast bread this morning to eat this week and about to make a loaf of whole wheat bread. Big cooking day.

Dh is going to eat chips and dip during the Superbowl, but at some point we are going to have dinner and I have already prepared it. The meal just needs to be heated up in the microwave and that is hashbrowns and scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese in them. There were only two slices of bacon, so I put those on FIL's plate to be heated up at dinner time.

Oh MissouriAngel *sigh* it's been so long since I've had chicken fried steak. What do you say I make some buttermilk biscuits and a peach cobbler and join you for Supper?

Goodness yes! That sounds very good, come on over!

I'm trying a new recipe for the chicken fried steak. It's a healthier version. You only brown it in a pan and finished in the oven. Hopefully it'll be good.

I hope so too! I'm doing my best to lighten up on the recipes I make. Astounding just how many calories are in some of the meals I make.

If it turns out good you'll need to post it in the tried recipes section here.

Breaded and baked chicken quarters while baking plain chicken quarters for chicken salad tomorrow. Tonight we'll have salad and Italian bread with butter with the chicken.
