Meat loaf - I'll make 2 and put 1 in the freezer. With some kind of potato and green beans from the garden, sliced garden tomatoes, and garden cukes. Fruit for dessert.

do you put it all in at the same time? I've never tried it, afraid the veggies would get too mushy!

I drag the roast out of the freezer and nuke it for a couple minutes to soften it up a little. Then I quarter the potatoes and put them in the crock. I put the roast on top of that. I clean the carrots and par-cook them in the micro for a couple minutes or they won't get done. Then I throw them in the crock and add cabbage wedges. Add about a half cup water. This will cook all day on low from about nine AM to six PM and be fine. Of course it depends how much stuff you put in there. A bigger crock of stuff needs more time.
