    Default What's for dinner 8/18?

Was going to cook sausage and sweet potatoes but whole hams were cheaper than chicken at the store yesterday. Going to bake it this morning (before the heat hits) and make baked sweet potatoes and asparagus.

Sounds yummy! I have 2 pot roasts in the crockpot with carrots for dinner. DH picked up corn, and we have garden tomatoes. I am freezing some pot roast for DS who is going to college next week!
Bought my new oven 1/08 and loving it!

Today is hubby's birthday. So i made his favorite. Pot roast, mash taters with carrots and some corn for dd. I asked if want to eat in or go out, he said eat at home. My cooking is better.

We had leftover brisket that DH BBQ'ed yesterday on the grill. I chopped it up into chopped beef so that we could make sandwiches out of it.
