What's for dinner 12/26?
We're having leftovers from Christmas Eve. Pork roast, mashed potatoes, scalloped carrots and peas with baby onions & mushrooms.

Mashed Potatoes
Steamed Veggies-- either broccoli or squash, I haven't gone out to the garage freezer to see which one yet
I have had this recipe on my menu plan two or three different times now, and something always happens to change my dinner plans and we still haven't tried it. Tonight we're finally having it, though!

We had Christmas Eve's dinner leftovers yesterday afternoon. Dinner was at SO's sister's house. Today we are all feeling a bit bogged down (digestively) due to the rich foods we have had over the past few days. We are going back to the basics to cut back on the grocery budget and it starts tonight. On the menu is Old Bay Seasoned Baked Chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy and corn.

Using some of the leftovers from yesterday (5 gallon size freezer bags of ham, one of which is the bone). Tonight we are going to have potato and ham soup with what's left of the dinner rolls.
