So, what's for dinner?
Blackeyed peas, turnip & collard greens, rice, bit of leftover ham and cornbread. Need all the lucky $$$$$-bringing luck I can get!

I never have been able to choke down Black eyed peas. If I listen to them will it have the same effect? lol We are having prime rib soup here. I had frozen the bones from Christmas so I hope it turns out ok. Think I'll make some Cuban bread to go with it.

DH is grilling sausage for the kids. I made cornbread muffins this a.m. for them and of course they will have black eyed peas. I'm heading down to see a movie with some friends, "The Holiday", later this afternoon.

We're having baked ham and baked sweet potatoe warmed up for hubby(I bake them all at once and freeze them and pull them ou when I need them) and stir fried asparagus. A biscuit for hubby(leftover from this mornings breakfast, he took me out to Bob evans!) and fried ice cream for him. I'm cutting back on the carbs!

Hoppin' John (Paul Prudhomme's recipe with blackeyed peas, rice, smoked sausage) and steamed organic dinosaur kale. And a beer, for watching the game.
Truly out of this world-delicious!
